Leaving your heart in San Francisco isn’t a hard thing to do, especially at any of the following top ten venues.

Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf

The City by the Bay is a shopaholic’s paradise. It’s also the second most crowded city in the country (after Manhattan), a circumstance that has always made finding an inexpensive place to park your car somewhat problematic. Nonetheless, it has never stopped intrepid tourists from seeking out bargains, rain or shine. If you’re traveling with family, my first recommendation is Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf. They are within easy walking distance of each other and are renowned for their souvenir shops, seafood cafes and restaurants, street performers and art galleries. The most popular attraction at Pier 39, of course, is the colony of noisy sea lions that swam into the harbor one day many years ago and simply decided never to leave.

So when it comes to this country, Vienna is the place to be. It is easily the biggest city in the entire country, and also has the highest population. The city of Vienna is the home to nearly 1.6 million people. And with all of these people comes a variety of cultures, beliefs, and religions. This makes Vienna one of the most fully diverse cities in the area.

Goa has a certain reputation, which dates back as far as the 1960’s, where it was regarded as a hippy paradise, a place for dropouts, and flower power, a not to be missed place for travellers, and probably regarded as the world centre for dope.

All of this whilst not totally inaccurate might put you off a visit to Goa, which would be a mistake. Sure Goa can still be the place for all night parties, and beaches crowded with people selling hash to fund their alternative lifestyles, but there is much more to Goa than that.

Safari In Botswana

Vast lands…wildlife…well, anyone may have those two in Africa but not definitely like the experience that may be had from Botswana Safaris.

This vast piece of land is only one of the few where wildlife need not compete for land and resources with man. The land area is as large as France yet the population counts only to mere 1.6 million people. As an outcome, wildlife has increased in great number that the place becomes a sanctuary for the finest games in all Africa.

The beauty of the Namibian Skeleton Coast is astounding. Nothing can prepare you for the experience of this desert wilderness.

For years the virgin beach and dunes of this area were exclusively accessible to miners, scientists and hardened desert animals such as gemsbok, jackal and brown hyenas. Now, vast parts of this area have been incorporated in the Namib Naukluft Park.

Day or night, Tokyo is a fascinating blend of contradictions. While exciting and fast-paced, the city is also clean and quiet. It often resembles an alternate New York City. There are millions of things to do, the skyscrapers appear to touch the clouds, and the fashion is top-notch. A seemingly endless stream of people and cars pour across the intersections in waves, yet rarely bump into each other, honk their horns or exchange angry words. The people tend to be friendly and polite.
